Description
A list of SNOMED CT codes related to refugee or asylum status, including codes related to presence in an immigration removal centre.
Methodology
This codelist was created by searching for the following terms and then selecting codes that were relevant to this aspect of migration status: asylum, refugee, illegal, initial health assessment
The codelist was reviewed with two GPs who have experience caring for migrant patients.
18/2/25: Added all asylum codes and immigration removal centre (IRC) codes (based on the rationale that individuals in IRCs are likely applying for asylum)
