Welcome to OpenCodelists, created by OpenSAFELY for creating and sharing codelists.

Anybody can also use this tool to create and share codelists. To get started, take a look at the documentation or watch the videos.

Below, you'll find all the codelists that have been used in OpenSAFELY research to date.

Opioid-containing medicines (rectal - excluding drugs for substance misuse) - Pseudo BNF BNF: All opioid-containing products which are given via rectal route of administration, EXCLUDING products listed in section 4.10 (substance misuse) of the legacy BNF code structure. Drugs outside of this, but not included in "opioid analgesics" in the BNF ARE included (e.g. co-codamol, alfentanil)

All combination products have been excluded and the list has been cross refereneced with the actual BNF for "Other drugs in the class ace inhibitors".
