Description

A SNOMED CT codelist describing primary care requests for total cholesterol with a numerical value.

Methodology

We identified the full set of cholesterol level codes (see cholesterol codelist), and excluded any codes which did not have at least 10 thousand codes in EMIS and SystmOne recorded in 2020, where a reasonable proportion had numerical values attached.
