This codelist aims to indicate if an individual was born in one of the UK countries (England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland) or the Crown Dependencies (Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey). This codelist will be used in conjunction with other migration codelists in order to create a migration status variable in a short data report describing the quality of migration recording in primary care data within the OpenSAFELY platform.

Born outside the UK SNOMED CT
This is a codelist of all SNOMED CT codes indicating a country of birth that is not the UK or its devolved nations (Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland) or Crown Dependencies (Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey), which will be used to create a cohort of potential migrants within the OpenSAFELY platform.
